I can never say this enough: despite the possibility of being read as standalones it’s always better to read them in order since the characters from previous books appear with their loved ones. I loved the chemistry between both characters and lived for the scenes where the characters from the previous books appeared and interacted with each other.
This was an intense slow burn romance with very steamy scenes. From there, they’re undeniable attraction really spikes and Christian will do anything to be with Stella. When Stella’s in danger due to some stalker, Christian steps right in to protect her.
But with Stella, he’s different, he’s softer. Christian is a dark and mysterious man, someone nobody’s want to mess with. Stella is a social media influencer and a fashion lover who is currently renting an apartment on Christian Harper’s building for a very nice price, that Christian himself negotiated with her.
